Role and Responsibilities
- Lead successful consulting engagements (with project ownership) addressing our clients' business challenges, delivering lasting and distinctive outcomes and value.
- Solve complex, ambiguous business change and technology problems through strong project management or business analysis expertise.
- Able to bring structure, rigorous analysis and planning whilst driving project delivery and managing senior stakeholder expectations.
- Build, develop and sustain trusted senior client relationships up to C-suite level.
- Play a key role in driving the growth agenda for clients by identifying emerging market trends.
- Develop and manage high performing, multidisciplinary consulting teams, actively mentoring others and contributing to performance management and recruitment activities.
Deliverables
- Manages projects / clients / teams for the practice they support, typically leading a portion of a client project.
- Explains the context of interrelated situations, asks probing questions, and solicits multiple sources of advice prior to taking action when appropriate.
- Co-ordination of Liqueo employees by acting as a mentor to colleagues within the wider business and sharing industry & domain expertise within Liqueo.
- Involved in organising with other employees the writing of white papers & case studies for publication via the Liqueo website and LinkedIn.
Skills & Experience / Competencies
- An expert understanding of the industry across either Asset Management, Wealth Management, Buyside Vendor or Buyside Consulting covering a range of client segments, offerings, and businesses.
- Familiarity with multiple core technology platforms in use in the industry (e.g. Aladdin, Charles River, SimCorp, Thinkfolio, Markit EDM, Avaloq, Investcloud, IRESS).
- Knowledge and a personal viewpoint on key trends, including front to back operating model, emerging products, risk & regulation, investor needs, investor lifecycle, and products and services.
- Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with recognized consulting frameworks and techniques; experience of research, quantitative analysis, structured problem solving and executive communication techniques.
- Proven presentation skills, personal impact, and charisma to lead large-scale, senior meetings, presentations and workshops supported by first class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner.
- Can identify potential hires and conducts first round interviews, creating a positive experience for the interviewee.
- Sets an example of strong leadership and management and is accountable for team performance while keeping team focused and motivated."
